El Camino Real
El Camino Real stretches some 600 miles from San Diego to San Francisco and was the first highway in California. It has become a multilane highway that in the bay area is a hodgepodge of old commercial and residential businesses that is rapidly becoming gentrified; transformed into condos, malls and upscale boutiques catering to the tech industry. I hope to capture some of the old character of this highway before it is gone forever. One of the original missions in Soledad built by the Spanish along El Camino Real.
